AR Porn review

The short version

AR Porn makes passthrough scenes: the background is removed and your headset places the performer inside your own room, using the headset's cameras. On a headset with colour passthrough, such as the Meta Quest 3 or 3S, it is the most "in the room" VR porn gets.

With 450+ scenes it is a large dedicated passthrough library, and at $6.67 a month on the yearly plan it is cheap. The one condition is your headset.

Check your headset first

• Quest 3, Quest 3S, Apple Vision Pro: colour passthrough, this is what AR Porn is made for.
• Quest 2 and most PC headsets: Quest 2 passthrough is black and white, and many PC headsets have none, so the effect is lost. Pick a regular VR site instead.

What you get for the money

450+ AR scenes with streaming and downloads, plus free toy sync scripts. Month-to-month is $19.99, a fair way to try the format for one month. Lifetime is $249.

How to watch

Use a VR video player that supports passthrough on your headset. Streaming from the site works, and downloads give the best quality. Light your room evenly: passthrough looks better in a bright room.

Who should pick something else

• You have a Quest 2 or a PC headset. VR Bangers or VRPorn.com will look better on your hardware.
• You want AR plus regular VR. VRPorn.com lists AR Porn among its studios and adds hundreds of regular VR studios.

Verdict

Buy, if you have a Quest 3, 3S or Vision Pro. At $6.67 a month on the yearly plan it is the dedicated way to try passthrough.
